Funding for Canadian small business
Fast Funding
Based on your Sales.
Not your Credit Record.
Pronto gives you a lump sum today in exchange for a share of your future debit and credit card sales. The money reaches your account in 24 to 48 hours. From then on we collect a set percentage of each day's card sales. Busy day, a bit more. Quiet day, a bit less, until the agreed total is collected.
Pronto will purchase as low as $2,500 worth of your future receivables at a discount.
What collection looks like
Your busiest sales days do the heavy lifting.
We collect a set share of your debit and credit card sales each business day. More on a busy day, less on a slow one. No fixed payment, and it ends once the agreed total is collected.
How it works
3 Steps. No Collateral, No Business Plan, No Branch Visit.
Most of what we need, you already have. We look at how your business actually performs, not a credit score on its own.
Tell us about your
Business
A few questions: what you do, how long you've been in business, and roughly what you process in debit and credit card sales each month. No documents and no credit check at this stage.
About four minutesWe look at your Daily Sales Performance
Recent bank statements and card processing statements. We want to see how steady your sales are and whether they're holding up or growing, so we can tell you whether you're eligible.
Same or next business dayYou see every Number before you Sign
How much lands in your account, what it costs in total, the share of daily card sales we collect, and roughly how long it takes. Nothing hidden and nothing added later.
Funds in 24 to 48 hoursWhat merchants use it for
What Merchants use the Funds for
There is no restriction on how you use the funds. These are simply the reasons we hear most.
What it costs
Side by Side Comparison with a
Bank Loan
The difference isn't a technicality. It changes what happens to you in a slow month.
Fixed Monthly Payment
- The payment is the same whether you had your best month or your worst.
- Interest builds over time. Miss a payment and the cost grows.
- Usually secured against your property or your equipment.
- Weeks of back and forth before you know where you stand.
A Share of your Daily Card Sales
- We take a percentage of what you sell each day. A quiet day costs you less, a busy day a little more, so a slow month sits easier on your cash flow.
- The total is agreed the day you sign. It never grows.
- Nothing pledged. Your home and your equipment stay out of it.
- Days to get funded, not weeks. Every number in front of you before you sign.
Your offer
Every Number, Before you Sign
Your funding depends on your own sales, so we will not guess at it here. What we can show you is exactly what your offer looks like, and it fits on one page.
Seven lines. That is the whole offer. Whatever total is agreed on the day you sign is the total we collect.
What that means day to day
On a busy Saturday we collect a little more and you keep the rest. On a quiet Tuesday we collect a little less. The collection moves with your sales.
There is no fixed monthly payment to budget around. What we collect is always a set share of what you have actually sold that day.
Every business is priced on its own sales, so the amount, the share we collect and the time it takes are all worked out for you and put in writing before you agree to anything. Nothing is added later.

Businesses that take Card Payments Every Day
If your money comes in through hundreds of small card payments rather than a handful of large invoices, this is built for you. Six months in business and steady daily sales matter far more to us than a perfect credit file.
A Straight Answer, Quickly
You'll know within a business day whether you're eligible. If you are, you'll see exactly what we're offering before you commit to anything.
And if the timing isn't right yet, we'll tell you what would change that. No three-week silence, no chasing us for an answer.
Why Pronto
Six Reasons Merchants Choose us over the Next Funder
Six things we do differently, in plain terms, so you know exactly what you are comparing when you speak to anyone else.
Every Number before you Sign
The amount, the total we collect and the share of your daily card sales are all in front of you before you commit to anything. Not after approval, not buried in a schedule. If a funder will not show you the total, ask why.
The Total never Grows
Whatever total is agreed the day you sign is the total we collect. Nothing compounds and nothing is added later.
Nothing Pledged
We do not take your home, your vehicle or your equipment. What we purchase is a share of your future debit and credit card sales, and that is the whole of it.
A Straight Answer, Quickly
You hear back the same or next business day, and funds land in 24 to 48 hours once you are approved. If the answer is no, you get that quickly too, with the reason.
You keep your Processor
You do not switch card machines, you do not move your merchant account and you do not change how you take payment. Your business runs exactly as it did yesterday.
You speak to a Person
Canadian owned, Canadian run, and small enough that the person who takes your call is the person who knows your file. No ticket number and no call centre.
Collection that fits the business
Collection moves with your Sales.
This is the part owners tell us makes the difference day to day.
It follows what you sell
We collect a set share of your debit and credit card sales each business day. A busy day, we collect a little more. A slow day, we collect a little less. There is no fixed monthly payment to budget around, because what we collect is always tied to what you have actually sold.
The total is fixed on day one
The total agreed on the day you sign is the total we collect. It does not grow, nothing compounds and nothing is added later. That is the practical difference between purchasing receivables and taking a loan, and it is the difference you feel in the running of the business.
If anything changes materially in your business, talk to us early. There is always more we can do when we hear about it in good time.
What merchants say
What Owners tell us about Working with Pronto.
Funding is a practical decision. These are the things owners raise with us most often.
“The bank wanted three years of statements and a lien on the building. I needed eight thousand dollars and a walk-in cooler that worked by Friday.*”
Maria · Owner, café · Scarborough, Ontario
“My bank wanted a business plan and two weeks to think about it. I had the funds in my account before they got back to me, and the job was done that week.*”
Daniel · Owner, restaurant · Mississauga, Ontario
“My credit took a beating a few years ago and every bank still holds it against me. Pronto looked at what the shop actually does every day. That was the whole difference.*”
Priya · Owner, auto repair · Hamilton, Ontario
“The collection moves with my sales. A busy week takes a little more, a quieter one takes a little less. It fits the way the shop actually runs.*”
Nadia · Owner, salon · Ottawa, Ontario
“I had the offer in front of me on one page. The amount, the total, the share, all of it. I have signed bank paper where I could not tell you what the thing cost.*”
Marc · Owner, convenience store · Scarborough, Ontario

About Pronto
Working Capital for Canadian Businesses that take Card Payments.
Pronto Merchant Funding is a Canadian company based in North York, Ontario. We purchase a portion of a business's future debit and credit card receivables at an agreed discount, which puts working capital in the owner's hands in days rather than weeks.
What we do
We fund small and independent businesses across Canada: restaurants and cafes, salons and barbers, retail shops, auto repair, convenience stores and dozens of other trades where money comes in through card payments every day.
Funding starts at $2,500 and rises from there. What a business can access is set by its monthly card sales, so a larger operation with stronger daily volume is funded accordingly. There is no collateral, no business plan and no branch visit. Most applicants have an answer the same or next business day and funds land in 24 to 48 hours from approval.
How we are different from a lender
We are not a lender and this is not a loan. We purchase future receivables, which is why there is no fixed monthly payment and no interest building in the background. We collect a set share of daily card sales, so collection moves at the speed of the business.
The total agreed on the day of signing is the total we collect. It does not grow, nothing compounds and nothing is pledged.
How we assess a business
Performance first, Credit File second.
A business with steady daily credit and debit card sales is a business worth funding, whatever its credit file says. It is simply one the banks are not set up to serve.
Daily Sales
How much the business processes in debit and credit card sales, how steady it is, and whether it is holding up or growing. This is what the decision rests on.
Time in Business
Six months of trading history is the minimum. We are looking for a pattern we can read, not a perfect file.
Affordability
We size the funding against the business's own sales, so the daily collection sits comfortably inside what it already takes. Stronger sales support a larger advance.
What we stand behind
Four Commitments we will put in Writing
Your information
How we handle what you Send us.
What we ask for and why
To tell you whether you are eligible we need recent bank statements and card processing statements, normally a minimum of four consecutive months. We use them to understand how steady your sales are. That is the whole purpose.
What we do with it
We use what you send to assess your application and to administer your agreement if you proceed. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone for their own marketing. You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
Partner with us
For Brokers, ISOs and anyone who Advises Small Business.
If your clients take debit and credit card payments, you already know which of them need working capital before you finish the conversation. We make the rest straightforward.
Send us the Deal
Business name, time in business, monthly card volume and recent statements. That is enough for us to tell you whether it is workable, usually the same business day.
A Fast, Clear Answer
You get a straight yes or no with the reasoning, so you are never left guessing what to tell your client. Offers set out every number before anything is signed.
Funded Deals
Terms are set out in a written agreement before you submit your first file. You know exactly how the partnership works right away.
Your client stays your client
We do not market to the businesses you introduce, we do not cross-sell them, and we do not go around you on a renewal. The relationship is yours and it stays yours.
Two ways to work with us
Refer a deal and we handle the file from there, or work as a reseller under your own process with our funding behind it. Both are set out in a written agreement, and we will walk you through the difference on a call.
Straight answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from a fixed monthly payment?
We collect a set share of your debit and credit card sales, so what comes out each day tracks what you actually sell that day. There is no fixed monthly payment amount.
Is this a loan?
No. We buy a set amount of your future debit and credit card sales, and you get the money up front. There's no interest, no due date and no monthly payment. The agreement spells out exactly what we're buying and the share of daily sales we collect.
Will you check my credit?
Not to tell you whether you're likely to be eligible. That is based on your sales. We may run a credit check as part of final approval, and we'll tell you before we do.
How much does it cost?
The full cost is agreed before you sign and never changes afterwards: the amount that lands in your account, a small underwriting fee, and the total we collect. Nothing builds up over time and nothing gets added later.
How much can I get?
It depends on your card sales. Funding starts at $2,500, and the more you process each month the more we can look at. We'll tell you what you're eligible for before you commit to anything.
Can I get funded again later?
Often, yes. Once a good portion has been collected and your sales support it, we can look at funding you again. It is never automatic and never guaranteed. We take a fresh look every time.
Do I have to change my card machine or processor?
No. You keep the terminal and the processor you already have. But once you are funded, you may not change your payment processor or add another one.
What do I need to apply?
You must be in business for a minimum of 6 months, have an active bank account, and regular debit and credit card sales. At the eligibility stage, we will ask you for bank and debit and credit card processing statements, nothing you don't already receive.

What to have ready
Nothing, for a first conversation. If you would like an answer on eligibility in the same call, it helps to know roughly what you process in debit and credit card sales each month and how long you have been in business.
If you are already funded
Call the same number and ask for the person handling your file. If your sales have changed materially, tell us early rather than late. There is always more we can do when we hear about it in time.
Check if you Qualify
